Jets Playoff Tickets

The New York Jets have a long and illustrious history that includes many trips to the postseason over the years, and Jets playoff tickets have proven to be a wise investment over the years. It all started back in 1968, when the first New York team to make the playoffs also became the first Jets squad (and in fact the first AFL franchise) to win it all, upsetting the heavily favored Baltimore Colts in Super Bowl III. The team returned to the playoffs the following season, losing to Kansas City in the AFL divisional playoff. Then began a postseason drought that lasted more than a decade, ending only when "Gang Green" reached the postseason as a Wild Card in 1981. In 18 postseason games, New York has an all-time record of 8-10. They are also three-time division champions, winning in 1968 and claiming the AFC East crown in 1998 and 2002.

Jets Playoff Tickets in 2005?

Last season, the New York Jets were just a missed field goal away from playing for the AFC Championship. If things had been slightly different, it could well have been New York playing the Eagles in the Super Bowl. Who knows? This year, the team spent their first draft pick on a new kicker, Mike Nugent of Ohio State, in the hopes that it will help put them over the top. Needless to say, fans are already starting to make plans to buy Jets playoff tickets in 2005. And why not? New York had the second-best rushing offense in the AFC last season, and it should only get better with free-agent tailback Derrick Blaylock joining future Hall of Famer Curtis Martin in the offensive backfield. Plus, quarterback Chad Pennington is healthy and the defense looks solid as well, meaning that this should be a banner year for the New York Jets and their fans.
